Incident of the Week 4/10/2020

Incident of the Week 4/10/2020

It is more important now than ever before that healthcare organizations ensure their data is secure from potential cyber attacks.

Over the past few weeks we have already seen cyber criminals taking advantage of the current pandemic by embedding trojans or worms in documents posing as information on COVID-19, or by taking advantage of organizations as they transition their workers into work from home programs. There was even an attempted hacking attack on the World Health Organization!

Healthcare Organizations have the responsibility of ensuring their patients data is safe from potential cyber attacks during this pandemic. To help these organizations during this time H-ISAC has partnered with RiskRecon, a Mastercard Company, to provide all healthcare organizations with free cybersecurity rating assessments.
